"Kill Your Stutter" has copied my review (and someone elses) of the Stuttering Foundation of America's book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" from Amazon and pasted them on their web page to make it look like our reviews are positive reviews of their program!! Unbelieveable!
People will go to such extremes to make money, and when it is selling a product that is worthless and when they create a blog and put God's name on the page with the list of their worthless stuff, it is sickening! I hope nobody falls for such trash, but you know there are people out there who do not do their research or who want so badly to get rid of their stuttering or a lisp or anxiety or such, that they will try anything. My fervent prayer is that people will beware of scams, research products by talking to others and getting recommendations (and not just one!), and get advice from professionals. As far as speech issues, check this page http://www.asha.org/public/speech/speech_self-help.htm on the American Speech and Hearing Association's web site. If you don't see a company listed here, they are not a reputable company for stuttering, lisping, or other speech disorders.
Beware of "cures"
I am amazed out how many youtube and blogs I am seeing where people are promising a cure for stuttering! It is sad that anyone will ask for even $37 just because you think they will send you a "cure." Beware of these sites, these people! Don't fall for it.
It is also interesting that whenever I post a reply, it always says "your post is awaiting approval" but it is never approved. That goes to show that the person does not want anyone else to say anything.
